About
Gabrielle Gallant is a policy and advocacy leader with a career that has included political staff roles, national policy development, and civil society leadership. She taught media relations at Sheridan College for six years, and engaged in advocacy on behalf of corporate and nonprofit clients. Over the course of her career, she has built a reputation for translating complex issues into clear, compelling narratives that drive action.
Gabrielle has led national advocacy strategies, built and managed high-performing policy teams, and contributed to major public policy wins at both the federal and provincial levels. Her work spans government, nonprofit, and private sector organizations, giving her a unique ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and align diverse interests around shared goals.
A regular contributor to national conversations, Gabrielle’s writing has appeared in major Canadian publications, including the Globe and Mail, the Toronto Star, Policy Options, Canadian Affairs, iPolitics and the Trillium. She is a frequent speaker at conferences and high-level events across the country. She has also represented organizations internationally, including speaking at a United Nations side event in New York.
